Life is always changing

It is with a sad heart that we are seeing the departure of Jonam, Joy, and their two small children.  While they greatly enjoyed living and working here, it turns out it is not a lifestyle they can currently take on with their young family.  We are as sad to see them go and they are to leave.  Unfortunately, as much as we would love for them to stay on the farm, we are very much in need of full time help and Grandma's house is where helpers must be housed.  We wish them all the best in their future adventures.

Going forward, Hackett, my 17 year old son, and I will be keeping on keeping on and continue to bring you all the best organically grown and sustainably raised food we can.  My 88 year old father, Keith, will continue to help out where he can - a great deal, considering his age!  After her summer working in Jackson Hole, this winter, Chauncey (now 26), will be here too to give a lending hand.  Derek (now 31) is in the US Coast Guard and living in the out east.

We will again be looking for someone who mirrors our philosophies, values and ethics, to join us on the farm.  This life is a wonderful one.  However, it also come with many challenges, which can make it unsuitable for much of the population.  Finding just the right fit can be challenging.
